# Usage Credit Terms

Katteli Inc. (“**Katteli**,” “**we**,” “**us**,” or “**our**”)

These Usage Credit Terms apply when Katteli makes usage credits available under
the [Terms of Service](/machine/legal/terms-of-service.md). Capitalized terms not defined here
have the meaning in the Terms of Service.

## 1. Credits

**Usage Credits.** After a payment is confirmed, Katteli adds the purchased
amount of usage credit to your account.

**Included Credits.** Katteli may add credits through a subscription plan,
signup offer, or promotion.

Usage Credits and Included Credits are together “**Credits**.”

## 2. Conditions

**Service use.** Credits pay only for eligible Services at the prices then in
effect. Included Credits are deducted before Usage Credits.

**Final purchases.** Credit purchases are final unless a refund is required by
law or authorized by Katteli or its merchant of record. Partial refunds of
Usage Credit packs are not available. After a refund, reversal, or chargeback,
Katteli may remove the Credits for that purchase and may suspend an account
whose remaining balance is insufficient.

**Duration.** Usage Credits remain valid while the account is open. If you close
your account, unused Usage Credits are retained for 90 days — reactivate within
that window to keep them; after 90 days they are forfeited. Included Credits end
on the date communicated when they are granted (typically the end of the plan
billing period) and do not roll over unless we expressly say so; closing an
account does not extend them beyond that date.

**Service allowance only.** A Credit is only a right to consume eligible
Services. It cannot be exchanged for cash and is not currency.

**Account restricted.** Credits cannot be resold, assigned, moved to another
account, or used by anyone other than the account holder.

**Automatic purchase.** If we offer automatic purchases, enabling the feature
authorizes the merchant of record to charge your selected payment method,
including applicable taxes, whenever the chosen balance threshold is reached,
until you disable the feature.

**Merchant of record.** Purchases through Stripe Checkout with Managed Payments
are charged by Stripe (via Link) as merchant of record. See the Terms of
Service and Stripe’s terms and privacy policy for the payment transaction.

## 3. Plans and periods

Subscription Included Credits and resource entitlements apply only during the
paid period for which they were granted. Upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations
follow the Terms of Service and the billing portal flows we provide. A plan
change does not convert Credits into cash.
